Outdoor missions

Outdoor environments are being constructed at a feverish pace... Feverish in this case, refers to 'rather slowly'. At any rate, as evidenced by the screenshot below, outdoors mission may soon become (virtual) reality.

The only things missing now are, houses, roads, decent height/shadow/target mapping, etc. Should be no problem! ;-)

I finally figured out how to map the selection circle texture to the uneven ground under a pc... it took forever! redface

But this should also let me map outdoor-ish shadows under creatures, trees, etc.

Yes, get the code from svn, modify it as described
on the Plans19 page. (see bottom of page "project Icarus"). Build it via: scons

Tremendous work Gabor. Your wife must either love or hate Scourge by now - depending on how much she enjoys your (lack of) company!!!!

If you get the latest from SVN, you'll notice the trees sway to digital wind... wink More good stuff to come soon.

The wind works really well! BTW my 3yo daughter Ramona played Scourge today and had a lot of fun!

Now trees have shadows that move as the wind blows. It's cool... but ok, I'll stop working on the wind finally.
